New Club Day offerings this summer will feature Kite enthusiast Archie Stewart. Campers will build their own kites, fly them, learn about kite history and discover how math relates to kiting. 
In addition, the museum of Science will visit us with their portable Starlab planetarium. Campers will have the opportunity to explore the Milky Way, more distant Galaxies, and some amazing Constellations.
Maplewood’s special summer events include Ooch-Yo-Yo specialist extraordinaire. His show includes tricks, music, dance, magic, and comedy. Ooch will entertain and inspire the campers with his amazing tricks and positive energy.
 Get down to earth and ready to Dig into Dinosaurs. Campers will have the chance to think like a paleontologist and explore the world of dinosaurs.
 Then open the gates of imagination for IllutionQuest, and exciting magic and illusion spectacular! Illusionist David Garrity and his magic team appear, vanish, pass through solid objects, and even float people from the audience.
Our five-acre pond is a camper favorite and this summer there will be added excitement at the boating area with the addition of new Paddleboats and Double Kayaks.
Our first two weeks of camp will start off with a bang with our ever-popular Penny Dive and famous Maplewood Candy Store
