Miss Barbara's play dough recipe.

Everyone loves Miss Barbara's play dough! She is sharing her special recipe for all her friends to enjoy at home!

Miss Barbara's Cooked Play Dough
1 cup flour
1/4 cup salt
2 Tablespoons cream of tartar
1 cup of water
2 tablespoons oil
food coloring as desired

Combine ingredients in a pan. Cook over low heat stirring constantly until the desired consistency. (about 5 minutes). Just when you see it is not "wet or sticky" and tends to hold its shape - it should be done.

Let the dough cool to touch before use... Parents, please knead the dough to be sure it's cooled enough throughout. No need to wait until totally cool, you will miss a nice feeling of warm dough that is almost therapeutic!
