Birthday Parties are offered two Saturdays each month in our Indoor/Outdoor Playground. Please note that your party will run during open play time.  We are only scheduling a limited number of parties each Saturday.

Please note that your party will run during open play time.  We are only scheduling a limited number of parties each Saturday. Families who would like to host a party would do the following steps.

• Click on the link to reserve your party tables ($25 fee) and select a half-hour time slot
  (10-10:30, 10:30-11, or 11-11:30). The most economical way to pay for your guests is to purchase a value pass (see link below). Each value pass costs $140 and has 10 visits (10 children). Please note that our Saturday registration fee is $20/child so even if you do not utilize the entire value pass it may still be the most cost-effective way to host your party.
• Once you reserve your table and purchase your value pass, your next step is registering the children attending your party (including the birthday child). Click the link below and select “Punch Card Registration $0.00.” Enter the child’s first and last name under the date your party is being held.
• A waiver must be completed for each child in attendance. Please forward this waiver link to the parent/guardian. Also, remind your guests that all children and ADULTS must wear grip socks or go barefoot in our indoor playground area. Grip socks can be purchased at Maplewood for $3/pair.
• Regarding your party celebration, if you are providing food, please bring cupcakes (rather than cake), juice boxes, and bottled water. We ask that decorations be limited to table coverings, plates, and napkins and that you do not bring balloons.
• Party time runs from 8:30-11:30 am, make sure you reserve your party table time.

Why are socks required?

In order to enter the indoor playground everyone (kids and adults) must wear grip socks.  Kids must remove socks before going into the sandbox.  You can bring your own grip socks, but just in case, we sell new grip socks at $1 per pair for your convenience.  Bring them with you for future visits. 

Can I bring my own food?

You are welcome to bring your own pre-packaged snacks and drinks, but everything must be nut and peanut-free.  We have tables set up in the main play area (gym) and outdoors to use for snacks during playtime. 

Why are food and drinks not allowed outside of the designated snack area? 

Bringing food or drinks into the play area can pose a potential hazard. It is common for kids to spill things or leave their food behind, which can result in injury if another child steps on it. We take a lot of measures to maintain a clean facility, and we encourage guests to assist in keeping it safe and clean as well.   (Please use the tables set up in the main play area (gym) and outdoors to use for snacks during playtime). 

Can I change a diaper in any of the play areas?

Yes. We have a special baby changing station in the main play area (gym) and in each bathroom.  They offer a clean environment to change a diaper.
