Each session will focus on a different sport, Basketball, Soccer, or Hockey. All sports require movement & control, ball-handling skills, teamwork, and the ability to follow directions. Does my child need to be enrolled in Maplewood Preschool to attend the "On the Ball" Sports Class?

Yes, the Sports Enrichment Program Classes are exclusively available to kids enrolled in Maplewood Preschool.

How is the pricing calculated?

The Enrichment Class price is $25/day. You can choose one or multiple days of the week, for any particular class.

For example, you can choose to attend the Gymnastics class on Mondays, for Session two of 2026:

  • There are 10 Calendar Mondays between December 1st, 2025 and February 2nd, 2026;
  • Out of those 10 Mondays, 1 is non-working (MLK Day – January 19th, 2026) – this leaves us with 9;
  • That means that for Session 2, Mondays, the price to sign up will be 9 days × $25 = $225
Can I sign up for a single class? How about just a few days?

Subscriptions are offered as a complete package for the entire season. You have the flexibility to choose your preferred day of the week, but specific days aren't available. For instance, if you choose Tuesdays, you'll enjoy all the Tuesdays in the session.

Can I sign up for different Enrichment Programs Classes, like Sports and Arts, at the same time?

Sure! As long as they're on different days, there's no reason why your child can't enjoy our Sports Class on Tuesdays and Arts Class on Thursdays, for example.

What happens in the half hour between the end of Preschool and the beginning of the Sports Class (1:00pm–1:30pm)?

Your child will benefit from uninterrupted care from when Preschool starts, at 9:00 am, until you pick them up at the end of the Enrichment Class, at 2:30.
